All the way from Belgium, Yousra joined our team in March. As part of her Communication Management studies in Brussels, she had to do an internship to learn more. And … What better place than Sun and Co. to learn?
Tell us a bit about you, Yousra!
Deep roots in the North of Morocco, born in Madrid and raised in Leuven, Belgium. I came all the way from Belgium to Javea to join the Sun and Co. team. I arrived to share my knowledge of communication to bring the unique stories within the walls of Sun and Co to the world. Besides communication, I’m also making my debut in the hosting world.I came to enjoy the wonderful lifestyle in Javea. When I am not at Sun and Co. you can find me at the seaside, facetiming with my family :))
What do you do at Sun and Co.?
As you might guess by my introduction, I am going to help Iva with the communications and marketing of Sun and Co. In addition, I will also be hosting to ensure that our guests have the most complete experience possible in Javea.
Outside of work, what do you love to do?
I don’t really have any hobbies; I love hiking in nature because I find it very calming. Especially at sunrise or sunset, I can stare at the sky for hours. So, I usually spend my free time hiking, or I spend that time with my family. Particularly with my little nieces, nephews, and brother, I’m their favorite sister/cousin for a reason :p .
If you had to describe coliving in one word, what would it be?

What do you think makes Sun and Co. so special?
The team at Sun and Co. They make sure the sun always shines inside the walls of Sun and Co. even when it rains. They are very people-oriented and sincerely want the guests to leave Sun and Co. feeling satisfied and fulfilled. The Sun and Co. team is open to communicating among themselves and with the guests, improving their weaknesses and leveraging their strengths.
Not only the team, but also the guests make this place so special. The fact that they are willing to give without expecting anything in return is so beautiful. I feel truly privileged to be part of this family.
What is your favorite thing about Javea?
The impressive nature views. Sometimes I feel like I’m looking at a painting.
Biggest surprise since joining the Sun and Co.’s team?
How quickly and easily I felt comfortable with the team. They made me feel completely at home after only 3 days.
